Global Edge Group is seeking an energetic Expeditor for our manufacturing client in Hastings, NE. This part-time role (<30 hours/week, flexible within 7:00am–5:00pm) focuses on expediting suppliers, issuing RFQs, and maintaining PO activity for C-Class and MRO items.

Responsibilities include running daily reports, KPI tracking, supplier communications, and compliance with company policies. Requires 3–5 years purchasing experience and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• BS or BA degree in a relevant field.
• 3–5 years of relevant purchasing experience.
• Strong data analysis and MS Excel proficiency.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Demonstrated sense of urgency and responsiveness to business needs.

Responsabilités

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Our team is currently looking for an Expeditor for one of our clients in the Manufacturing Industry.

We are seeking an individual with high energy and a drive for results to join our team as a site Expeditor within our Supply Chain department. They will be responsible for working with Buyers, expediting suppliers, updating the system, issuing RFQ’s, maintaining KPI reports, issuing and monitoring purchase orders (PO’s) for C Class, MRO items and other general duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Run daily reports, issuing open PO reports to suppliers
• Direct communication with US and Foreign based suppliers for expediting/status updates
• Issue RFQ’s to support buyers as required
• Maintain daily, weekly, monthly KPI reports
• Buy C-Class, MRO items as required to support Buyers
• At all times comply with company Safety, Integrity & Ethics procedures/policies
• Compliance with company Supply Chain policies & procedures
• Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in purchasing roles
• Ability to work in a team oriented, fast paced environment
• Basic data analysis skills
• Demonstrated sense of urgency and responsiveness based on the needs of the business
• Proficiency with MS Office, primarily Excel
• BS or BA Degree in relevant field and 3-5 years relevant experience
