Job summary

Davis Defense Group seeks an EWS Blended Seminar Instructor (CDET) to support the College of Distance Education and Training at Marine Corps Base Hawaii. The role executes in three parts: resident, online, and final resident periods, with the full program run once per Academic Year.

Qualifications

• U.S. Marine Corps field grade officer experience at battalion/squadron level or above.
• Graduate of the U.S. Marine Corps Expeditionary Warfare School (resident, distance, or blended).
• Teaching experience, preferably using the Socratic method.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Socratic style onsite and online seminars using CDET curricula and teaching materials.
• Grade students’ papers and assignments using CDET rubrics.
• Remediate students who fail exams with extra instruction.
• Enforce CDET academic integrity and test security.
• Ensure enrollment of eligible students into courses and provide limited LSS support.
• Attend the annual CDET Faculty workshop at Quantico, VA.
