Job summary

Hatalom seeks an experienced Expeditionary Warfare School Blended Seminar Instructor to support the MCU/CDET program at Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan, delivering resident, online, and blended seminars. The role emphasizes Socratic methods, mentoring, and academic evaluation of Marine officers across three phases each AY.

The successful candidate will conduct resident and online instruction, maintain records, and ensure compliance with Marine Corps University standards.

Qualifications

• Senior Enlisted Programs (SEBSP / SEOS) experience.
• Graduate of USMC Expeditionary Warfare School (resident, distance, or blended).
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Experience as Commanding Officer, Executive Officer, Operations Officer, or Primary Staff Officer at battalion or higher.
• Demonstrated ability mentoring military personnel and facilitating discussions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct resident and online seminar instruction for the EWS curriculum.
• Facilitate PME discussions using Socratic teaching and adult learning principles.
• Mentor Marine officers and provide academic guidance throughout the program.
• Evaluate student participation, assignments, essays, and exams using rubrics.
• Provide timely feedback to support student development and learning objectives.
• Maintain accurate student records and course documentation.
• Ensure compliance with academic standards and testing security.
