Job summary

The Salvation Army in Memphis seeks a warehouse associate to receive, sort, price, tag, pack and distribute donated items for Family Stores. You will ensure the timely processing of items in line with Salvation Army policies and regulatory requirements.

You will liaise with the Store Supervisor to guarantee stores receive needed merchandise and maintain efficient warehouse operations. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with prior warehouse/retail experience valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in a warehouse or retail setting sorting and pricing merchandise and furniture or equivalent training/experience.

Responsibilities

• Receives, sorts, prices, tags, packs, and distributes donated items for shipment to Family Stores.
• Ensures all donated items are unloaded and processed in accordance with Salvation Army policies and local/state/federal regulations.
• Acts as liaison to the Store Supervisor to ensure stores receive needed merchandise.
