Areté Education is seeking licensed NYSED teachers to lead engaging clubs during ExpandED day for students in grades 6-8. The grant-funded role supports up to 700 students with enrichment and academic offerings.

Selected candidates will design standards-based curricula aligned with NYS Standards, maintain records, liaise with families, and collaborate with program directors and staff to ensure high-quality instructional experiences.

• Active NYSED teaching license required.
• Evidence of effective learning strategies and ability to design real-world applications.
• Demonstrated outcomes with diverse student populations.

• Implement instructional activities and coordinate with supervisors.
• Develop curriculum maps, unit plans, lessons, and assessments aligned to NYS Standards.
• Prepare attendance and assessment reports within timelines.
• Maintain records and communicate with families.
• Collaborate with Principal and Arete staff; participate in orientation and coaching.
