Job summary

Faribault Public Schools is seeking an Out-of-School Time Coordinator for the Secondary Level to lead before/after-school programs, summer offerings, and non-school day activities at high school and middle school sites.

You will supervise staff, manage daily operations, and build partnerships with schools, families, and community organizations to provide safe, engaging learning experiences that support student success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Community Education, Youth Development, Human Services, Recreation, Career and Technical Education, or a related field.
• Minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience in youth programming, education, career readiness, or expanded learning.
• Experience supervising staff, coordinating programs, and developing community partnerships.
• Valid Minnesota Driver's License.
• Knowledge of positive youth development, adolescent development, expanded learning, college and career readiness, workforce development, grant compliance, program management, staff supervision, and continuous quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, implementation, coordination, and improvement of expanded learning programs aligned with district priorities.
• Develop engaging academic, enrichment, leadership, career exploration, college readiness, workforce development, and service-learning opportunities.
• Coordinate programs, student enrollment, transportation, attendance, meals, field trips, and daily operations.
• Develop systems that promote student engagement, belonging, leadership, and positive youth development.
• Recruit, hire, train, supervise, coach, and evaluate program staff.
• Collaborate with school staff and community partners to identify students for opportunities and monitor outcomes.
