Job summary

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools seek an Expanded Impact Teacher 2 (EIT2) to plan, deliver, and monitor instruction across multiple classrooms under the supervision of a Multi-Classroom Leader. The role focuses on improving student outcomes in alignment with the School Improvement Plan.

Full-time, 10 months, with $4,500 supplemental pay in both Non-Title I and Title I schools. Reports to the Principal and collaborates with teachers to review progress and adjust instruction for higher learning

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 3 years of prior teaching experience with evidence of high-progress student outcomes.
• NC Professional Educator's License in the relevant subject area and grade level.
• Evidence of initiative and leadership of adults required.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to state, federal, and local laws, policies, and procedures.
• Plan and prepare lessons aligned to the School Improvement Plan.
• Deliver instruction and monitor student progress to determine instructional needs.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to review progress and adjust instruction.
• Lead schoolwide initiatives and participate in curriculum development or assessment committees.
• Partner with parents and community organizations to extend student learning opportunities.
