Expanded Functions Dental Assistant Full Time

Job Summary:

Dentlife Dental Care is a private dental practice seeking a skilled EFDA Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dental staff in providing excellent oral healthcare to patients. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about dentistry and patient care.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
2. Complete approved procedures validated through the Ohio Dental Board such as placement of amalgam, composite restorations, stainless steel crowns, space maintainers, etc., efficiently and timely
3. Prepare patients for dental work and ensure their comfort
4. Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
5. Prepare the work area for procedures and clean up afterward

Requirements:

• Take and develop dental x-rays
• Experience with four-handed dentistry techniques
• Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred

Qualifications:

• Current Expanded Function Dental Assistant Certification
