We're hiring! Premier Dental is seeking a motivated, dedicated, and compassionate Full-Time Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our growing team! As a token of our appreciation, we're offering a $5,000 Welcome Bonus to the new full-time EFDA who joins us!

As an EFDA, you will work closely with our dentists and other team members to provide exceptional dental care to our patients.

Schedule:

• Mon 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Tues 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Wed 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Thur 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Fri 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Requirements

• EFDA Certification in Ohio
• Assist the dentist during treatment procedures
• Ask about medical history and take blood pressure and pulse
• Serve as infection control officer, develop protocols, sterilize instruments
• Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after treatment
• Provide post-treatment oral care instructions
• Teach oral hygiene strategies (brushing, flossing, nutrition)
• Take impressions for study models
• Communicate with patients and suppliers (scheduling, billing, supplies)
• Assist in all dental specialties, including orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, periodontics, and oral surgery
• Perform approved procedures such as amalgam, composite restorations, crowns, space maintainers
• Manage patient flow to optimize the dentist’s time
