Job summary

Dental365 – Camp Hill is seeking an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our team in Camp Hill, PA. You will support the dentist, take radiographs, and ensure infection control while delivering compassionate care to patients.

The role requires prior dental assisting experience and an active EFDA license in good standing, along with strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to patient comfort.

Responsibilities

  • Welcoming patients with a smile and putting them at ease during visits.
  • Support the dentist with various procedures.
  • Take digital radiographs and intra-oral scans as prescribed.
  • Maintain strict infection control and sterilize instruments.
  • Prepare operatories for treatments and sanitize workspaces.
  • Adhere to OSHA and safety policies to ensure a safe environment.
  • Educate patients on effective oral hygiene practices.
  • Handle diverse office tasks to support daily operations.

HIRING SCHEDULE:
  • Monday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
  • Tuesday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
  • Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
  • Friday: 8:00am - 3:00pm
  • Saturday: 8:00am - 1:00pm (1xMonth)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Welcoming patients with a smile, making them feel comfortable and confident throughout their visit.
  • Support the Dentist with various procedures.
  • Taking digital radiographs and intra-oral scans as prescribed
  • Ensure strict infection control by meticulously preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
  • Sanitizing and prepping operatories for respective treatments.
  • Adhere to OSHA and safety policies, prioritizing a secure and healthy environment.
  • Educate patients on effective oral hygiene strategies as needed
  • Undertake diverse office tasks as needed for seamless practice operations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Prior dental assisting experience required and active EFDA license in good standing.
  • Any certification/license as required by the state to perform specified duties.
  • A resume showcasing a consistent and stable employment history.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, delivering exceptional patient experiences.

Salary Range: $30 - $34/HR (range may vary based on experience level and job responsibilities)
