Smile Pennsylvania, a school-based mobile dental practice, is seeking an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to support underserved children at schools in Warren, PA and surrounding areas. This is a full-time role with a workday aligned to the school schedule and no nights or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Dental assisting services during mobile dental clinics
• Digital X-ray imaging and patient records/charting
• Equipment setup, breakdown, and sterilization assistance
• Travel daily to and from school sites

Qualifications

• Active DA Certification
• PA State Dental Board EFDA license
• Must meet state requirements to operate X-ray equipment
• CPR/BLS certification
• Experience as a Dental Assistant
• Digital radiography experience
• Patient charting experience
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; willingness to travel to nearby counties
• Ability to work well with children; strong teamwork for a small team
• Ability to set up and break down equipment; physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
