Job summary

Elite Dental Partners is seeking a Dental Assistant who shares a passion for patient care and education, as well as creating a welcoming environment.

You will provide chair-side support to dentists and hygienists, take and process X-rays, maintain patient files, and educate patients on oral health. A dental assisting program and radiology certification are required, with a willingness to travel up to 20% to support nearby offices.

Qualifications

• Completion of a dental assisting program and state-board certification as required.
• Radiology certification required to comply with state board regulations.
• Dental assisting experience preferred.
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and dental software; Dentrix preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork to create a great environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% to support surrounding offices.

Responsibilities

• Provide chair-side clinical support to Dentists and Hygienists, including charting, patient education, operatory setup and cleanup.
• Deliver a superior patient experience at all phases of their appointment.
• Take and process X-Rays.
• Enter patient treatment plans and maintain files.
• Complete sterilization processes for equipment and operatories.
• Educate patients on the importance of oral health and maintenance.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office products and working with a dental software, experience with Dentrix preferred
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to partnering with all team members to create a great environment
• Willingness to travel up to 20% to support surrounding offices
