Job summary

Elite-Dental-Partners is seeking a Dental Assistant who shares our passion for patient care and education, and for creating a welcoming environment. Provide chair-side support, educate patients, and help maintain a smooth flow of operations.

You will take and process X-Rays, enter treatment plans, and ensure proper sterilization. The role requires completion of a dental assisting program and radiology certification, with travel up to 20% to support nearby offices.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a dental assisting program and state board certification as required.
  • State-required radiology certification.
  • Dental assisting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide chair-side support to dentists and hygienists, including charting and operatory setup.
  • Deliver a superior patient experience at all appointment phases.
  • Take and process X-Rays.
  • Enter patient treatment plans and maintain files.
  • Complete sterilization of equipment and operatories.
  • Educate patients on oral health importance and maintenance.

Responsibilities
  • Provide chair-side clinical support to Dentists and Hygienists by charting, patient education, operatory set-up and clean-up
  • Deliver a superior patient experience at all phases of their appointment
  • Take and process X-Rays
  • Enter patient treatment plans and maintain files
  • Complete sterilization processes for equipment and operatories
  • Educate patients on the importance of their oral health and how it is best maintained
Qualifications
  • Completion of a dental assisting program, certification as required by the State Dental Board
  • Radiology certification required to be compliant with the State Dental Board
  • Dental assisting experience preferred
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products and working with a dental software, experience with Dentrix preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to partnering with all team members to create a great environment
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% to support nearby offices
