Clear Lakes Dental is expanding in Columbus, OH and seeking an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (LDA) to join a supportive, high-energy team. The role offers a guaranteed $30-$36/hour base with daily bonuses and a full benefits package. You will work in modern clinics and help educate patients on care.

Requirements include MN Dental Assistant License, graduation from an accredited DA program, CPR certification, and strong communication skills. Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Dentists, Dental Therapists, and Hygienists during procedures.
• Sterilize and set up operatories between patients.
• Take and process dental x-rays.
• Document treatment plans and patient notes accurately.
• Apply sealants, fluoride, and other preventive treatments.
• Support with impressions, temp crowns, and lab prep.
• Educate patients on postop care.

Position: Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA)

Status: Full-Time | Hourly | Non-Exempt

Location: Columbus, OH

Reports to: Dental Operations Manager (DOM)

What You'll Do

• Assist Dentists, Dental Therapists, and Hygienists during procedures

What You Bring

• MN Dental Assistant License + graduation from accredited DA program
• CPR certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with dental terminology, procedures, and software
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and great under pressure
• Bilingual in Spanish, Somali, Oromo, or Hmong? Big plus!

Schedule

Monday - Friday | 8:45 AM - 5:30 PM

Includes 1-hour lunch break at 1:00 PM
