Job summary

White House Clinics in McKee, KY is seeking an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant (EDDA) to support dentists with efficient patient care in a fast-paced clinic environment.

The EDDA will prep operatory, assist with chairside procedures, manage patient flow and perform sterilization and equipment maintenance as part of an integrated care team, ensuring high-quality coordinated care for patients.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and completion of Expanded Duties/Expanded Function Dental Assisting program.
• No experience required, however preference will be given to candidates with previous dental office experience.
• Current Certification/Registration for Expanded Duties Dental Assisting. American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operatory and room patient prior to dentist, including health history updates.
• Assist dentist during patient visits, including chairside duties and 4-handed dentistry.
• Obtain radiographic images and enter into the electronic dental record system.
• Deliver preventive education to patients.
• Maintain operatory and dental equipment and cleaning procedures.
