Job summary

Buckhead Atlanta Dentistry, PC is seeking a motivated Expanded Duties Dental Assistant to join a fast-paced, patient-focused team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate is team-oriented, eager to learn, and adaptable to a busy dental practice.

Responsibilities include room setup, sterilization, assisting during procedures, taking X-rays, processing lab work, greeting patients, scheduling, and maintaining records. CDA/EDDA certifications and CPR are required or training is available.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification Status

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms, sterilize instruments and ensure equipment is ready for providers
• Assist providers during procedures by handing instruments and anticipating needs
• Take and process X-rays of patients
• Process lab work for the providers
• Greet patients as they arrive and schedule appointments
• Advise patients on recommended treatment and post Op care
• Update and maintain health records
• Handle general administrative duties to optimize the practice

Our office is looking for a motivated and compassionate Expanded Duties Dental Assistant to join our culture-driven team full-time. This is a high-paced, patient focused office with a strong team. We are looking for a long-term addition who wants to find a permanent home.

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

Daily tasks to include:

• Monday: 7AM - 3PM, No scheduled lunch (15 min huddle before start of day required)
• Wednesday: 7AM - 3PM, No scheduled lunch (15 min huddle before start of day required)
• Friday: 7AM - 2:00PM, No scheduled lunch (15 min huddle before start of day required) Alternating schedule with other assistant.
