Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms and sterilize instruments for providers.
• Assist providers during procedures and anticipate needs.
• Take and process patient X-rays.
• Process lab work for providers.
• Greet patients and schedule appointments.
• Advise patients on treatment and post-op care.
• Update and maintain health records.
• Handle general administrative duties to optimize the practice.

Our office is looking for a motivated and compassionate Expanded Duties Dental Assistant to join our culture-driven team full-time. This is a high-paced, patient focused office with a strong team. We are looking for a long-term addition who wants to find a permanent home.

Daily tasks to include:

• Preparing exam rooms, sterilizing instruments and ensuring necessary equipment is ready for providers
• Assisting providers during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating needs
• Taking and processing X-rays of patients
• Processing lab work for the providers
• Greeting patients as they arrive and scheduling appointments
• Advising patients on recommended treatment and post Op care
• Updating and maintaining health records
• Handling general administrative and other duties to optimize the practice
