Job Responsibilities:

As an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant, you will organize and maintain lab equipment, take and develop X-rays, and provide comprehensive post-operative dental procedures.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Taking and recording medical and dental histories and vital signs
• Assisting the dentist in managing dental emergencies
• Participating in continuing education and training to improve clinical skills

Requirements:

Ideal Candidate: Positive, outgoing personality with excellent communication, patient care, and organizational skills.

Additional requirements:

• Strong knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Good manual dexterity
• Computer proficiency and adaptability to new programs
• Willingness to travel for training (at least once every other month, occasionally overnight)
• Dental assisting certification is a plus
• Previous dental practice experience is a plus
