• Experience as an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant required.
• Must have CPR/BLS certification and X-Ray certifications.

Big Smiles, a school-based mobile dental practice, is seeking an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) in South Lexington, KY and surrounding areas. This role involves providing dental care to underserved children at their schools, offering a unique work environment with no nights or weekends, and a schedule aligned with the school day.

Responsibilities

• Perform dental assisting services during mobile dental clinics
• Digital X-ray imaging
• Patient records charting
• Assist with equipment setup, breakdown, and sterilization
• Travel daily to and from school sites

Qualifications

• Experience as an EDDA
• CPR/BLS certification
• Digital X-ray imaging experience
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, willingness to travel locally
• Works well with children and in fast-paced environments
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• X-Ray, Sealant, and Coronal Polishing certifications
