Job summary

Nelda C. and H.J. Lutcher Stark Foundation seeks a part-time Graphic Design and Exhibitions Assistant to support the Exhibitions department. The role involves creating graphics for exhibitions, installing visuals, and maintaining gallery spaces.

The position reports to the Exhibitions Manager and may assist the Collections department. Requires proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and familiarity with exhibition fabrication and installation processes.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite required (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Experience with 3D modeling software a plus (SketchUp).
• Knowledge of museum collections care or related databases preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design graphics for exhibitions, panels, signage, and wall text.
• Prepare files for printing, fabrication, and installation with accurate dimensions.
• Install and maintain exhibition graphics and furniture under supervision.
• Assist in coordinating exhibitions, updating graphics, and supporting collections work as needed.
• Conduct venue walkthroughs to identify issues and maintain galleries.
