Liberty Science Center in Jersey City, New Jersey, seeks an Exhibition Developer to craft concepts and content for interactive, STEAM-focused exhibitions. You will drive narrative, work across teams, and support traveling and temporary installations.

You’ll research science content, write panel copy and multimedia scripts, evaluate visitors, and collaborate with designers, vendors, and external advisors. This role reports to the Vice President of Exhibitions and demands creativity, organization,

Qualifications

• BA/BS in science, math, engineering, or related informal teaching field.
• MA/MS preferred for advanced roles.
• Experience in exhibition development or science communication.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and develop engaging exhibitions representing current scientific research.
• Research educational content for exhibitions.
• Write and edit exhibition copy and multimedia scripts.
• Coordinate with external advisors, designers and experts to develop content.
• Lead content development across all phases of exhibition development.
• Procure artifacts and in-kind donations to support exhibitions.
• Deliver presentations to external partners and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams across departments.
