Job summary

Abstract Displays Inc. is seeking an Exhibit Warehouse Associate – Portable Division to coordinate exhibit shipments, prepare trade show displays, manage inventory, and support warehouse operations across the country.

This hands-on role requires 1–3 years in logistics or related fields, lifting up to 50 lbs, operating forklifts, and a commitment to accuracy. The position is non-remote with a 40-hour week, Monday–Friday, and occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in logistics, shipping/receiving, warehouse operations, exhibit production, or related field.
• Mechanically inclined; asset management experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely on ladders; familiarity with forklifts/scissor lifts.
• Must reside within the Cincinnati metropolitan area and pass drug/background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, construct, and inspect small exhibit displays per drawings and specs.
• Prepare exhibits for previews ensuring accuracy and presentation quality.
• Identify and resolve structural, assembly, or quality issues prior to shipment.
• Use hand and measuring tools to construct, adjust, and repair exhibit components.
• Communicate with team to meet project timelines and expectations.
• Verify inbound/outbound shipments and complete shipping/receiving/inventory documents.
• Inspect shipments for damage and report discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate inventory, shipping, and PO records for warehouse operations.
• Assist with warehouse organization and inventory management.

Job Description

We are seeking an Exhibit Warehouse Associate – Portable Division to coordinate exhibit shipments, prepare trade show displays, manage inventory, and support warehouse operations. This hands‑on role combines logistics, quality control, inventory management, and exhibit preparation to ensure client displays arrive accurately and on time for events across the country.

This position requires a standard 40-hour workweek, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime/weekend work as needed.

General Responsibilities

• Assemble, construct, and inspect small exhibit displays according to drawings, setup instructions, and design specifications.
• Prepare exhibits for previews by ensuring accuracy, completeness, and presentation quality.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve structural, assembly, or quality issues prior to shipment.
• Use hand and measuring tools to construct, adjust, and repair exhibit components.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet project timelines and expectations.
• Verify the accuracy of inbound and outbound shipments and complete all required shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation in a timely manner.
• Inspect shipments for damage and report discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate inventory, shipping, and purchase order records to support efficient warehouse and logistics operations.
• Assist with warehouse organization and inventory management.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in logistics, shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, manufacturing, exhibit production, or a related field.
• Mechanically inclined; asset management experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work safely on ladders and operate forklifts and scissor lifts.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to pass a drug screening and criminal background check.
• Must reside within the Cincinnati metropolitan area.
• Comfortable using computers, tablets, and learning new software systems.
