Job summary

Rockway Exhibits + Events in Orlando is seeking a Project Manager to own the internal execution of booths from intake through installation and dismantle. You will coordinate with Account Management, CAD/detailing, and production teams to ensure builds meet specs, budget, and schedule.

This role requires hands-on production involvement, proactive problem-solving, and strong communication with vendors and freight teams to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management in trade show exhibits or similar build environment.
• Hands-on understanding of how booths come together: frame systems, fabrication, graphics, lighting, electrical.
• Ability to read and interpret production drawings, setup drawings, and graphic layouts.
• Clear, proactive communication with account managers, detailers, shop leads, vendors, and labor crews.

Responsibilities

• Own project intake and planning with client specs, budget, show dates, booth description, and every custom fabrication piece.
• Set critical dates for graphics, layouts, production drawings, and ship date; assign owners for each deliverable.
• Build and maintain production folders color coded by ship urgency and current in real time.
• Review production drawings with CAD/detailing and shop to catch build issues early.
• Track every order in Airtable and confirm delivery dates align with production schedule.
• Document deficiencies and ensure timely resolution before dismantle and packing.
