Qualifications

  • 2+ years direct work experience in a professional production environment with AV and tech equipment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable with spreadsheets.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional team and prioritize tasks.
  • Creative, solution-oriented thinker with safety mindset.
  • Team collaboration with diverse backgrounds.
  • Independent and collaborative work capability.
  • Comfortable climbing ladders.
  • Able to operate a scissor lift or willing to be trained.
  • Able to lift at least 40 pounds.
  • Weekend availability is required and role is in-person.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in technical startup and shutdown procedures for exhibits.
  • Support daily operational procedures as directed by the Technical Manager and Operations Team.
  • Troubleshoot and coordinate with the necessary contacts for support.
  • Resolve technology and technical-based challenges.
  • Support production notes for carpentry, lighting, sound, or projection.
  • Administer production inventory.
  • Maintain logs and records including troubleshooting, maintenance, inventory, and crew lists.
