Job summary

Access TCA in Massachusetts is seeking a Production Designer to produce accurate construction drawings for booth components and supply setup instructions for on-site supervision. The role requires creating shop drawings, 3D parts, and setup prints for wiring, carpet, and banners.

The candidate will collaborate across teams, attend production launches, evaluate 3D models against client blueprints, and develop timely detail prints while staying current with industry practices in trade-show

Qualifications

Experience drafting exhibit, architectural, or millwork drawings.
Proficient in AutoCAD and capable of producing elevation, isometric views and exploded views.
Strong 3D modeling skills using AutoCAD, Inventor or SolidWorks.
Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Willingness to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

Generate shop/construction drawings for new or modified exhibit components.
Create detailed setup prints showing locations, electrical and networking needs, carpet layouts.
Create 3D part files for CNC routing.
Attend production launch meetings and provide technical input.
Review 3D drawings and client/vendor blueprints for compatibility.
Determine timelines for production drawings and setup prints.
Communicate with stakeholders to complete accurate prints.
Assist on projects to meet deadlines and maintain industry standards.
