Job summary

Orbus, a leading tradeshow builder and designer, is seeking an Exhibit Detailer to translate project estimates and design concepts into accurate 3D assembly models, BOMs, and graphic layouts. This role supports project management and production and requires strong collaboration with design and fabrication teams.

Ideal candidates have an industrial design or 3D drafting background with experience in modular exhibit systems, aluminum extrusion structures, SEG graphics, and production-ready

Qualifications

• Industrial design or 3D drafting background with strong understanding of modular exhibit systems.
• Experience translating concepts into production-ready drawings and assemblies.
• Ability to translate estimates into accurate 3D models and BOMs.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D CAD assembly models for tradeshow exhibits and booth structures
• Convert lineal and square-foot estimates into detailed production drawings
• Produce graphic layouts and placement drawings for booth environments
• Create Bills of Materials (BOM) for fabrication and production
• Coordinate with project managers, designers, and production teams to ensure accuracy
• Ensure designs align with standard exhibit systems, fabrication methods, and production capabilities
