Augusta Health Lifetime Fitness in Fishersville, VA is hiring a fitness attendant to manage daily equipment operations and guide members in safe usage. You will orient members to equipment and support preventive wellness programs.

The role requires CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain), a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and flexibility to work varied shifts, weekends, and holidays. One year in fitness is preferred.

• Pay or shift range: $19.44 USD to $24.59 USD
  The pay range reflects the current compensation range for this position at the time of posting. Individual offers are determined based on directly related experience, skills, education, internal equity, and other job-related factors. Not all candidates will qualify for the upper end of the posted range.

Description

• Position is responsible for the daily operations of the fitness exercise equipment areas, for assisting members with equipment orientations and for providing members guidance in safe and proper usage of all fitness equipment.
• Performing preventive wellness assessments, organizing and implementing programs pertaining to preventive wellness as well as attending health fairs/outside events representing Augusta Health Lifetime Fitness.

Requirements

• CPR/BLS for healthcare providers or ability to obtain during orientation period.
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Science, Kinesiology, Sport Management or a Fitness Related Field required or a combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of the degree
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Willingness to work different shifts, weekends, and/or holidays.

Experience

• One year experience working in the fitness field preferred.
