Job summary

Augusta Health Lifetime Fitness is hiring to oversee the daily operations of the fitness equipment areas, assist members with orientations, and guide safe use of all equipment. You will also help organize preventive wellness programs and represent the facility at health fairs.

The role requires a BS in Health Science/Kinesiology or related field (or equivalent experience), CPR/BLS, strong customer service, and willingness to work varied shifts, weekends, or holidays.

Qualifications

• CPR/BLS certification required or ability to obtain during orientation.
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Science, Kinesiology, Sport Management or a Fitness Related Field required or a combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of the degree
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Willingness to work different shifts, weekends, and/or holidays.
• One year experience working in the fitness field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the fitness exercise equipment areas.
• Assist members with equipment orientations and provide guidance on safe usage of fitness equipment.
• Perform preventive wellness assessments and organize programs pertaining to preventive wellness.
• Represent Augusta Health Lifetime Fitness at health fairs and outside events.
