Responsible for administering aerobic and other exercise programs with patients with cardiovascular and pulmonary disorders in collaboration and conjunction with RN’s and therapists to enhance quality of life, manage health risk, and promote lasting health behavior change. The specialist performs maximal and submaximal graded exercise tests, and develops and administer programs designed to enhance aerobic endurance, cardiovascular function, muscular strength and endurance and balance.
