Sigmatech is seeking a well qualified Exercise Planning analyst to support the Mission Delta (MD) 9 Staff located at Schriever SFB accomplish the following:
- Actively participate in all directed concept development, exercise planning, and execution events requiring MD 9 white cell or trusted agent support
- Act as liaison between MD 9 units by documenting and tracking all action items and due-outs and executing all contractor-assigned tasks
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders (HHQ, component commands, tactical units) to ensure synchronization of planning efforts, force sourcing, and resource allocation
- Coordinate with MD 9 unit Readiness personnel to track, report, and facilitate all unit readiness requirements IAW SPAFORGEN cycle timelines
- Maintaining the MD 9 Space Ops Duty Order tracker and provide weekly updates to unit leadership, S3/7 and any USSF/CFC/STARCOM equities
- Track and communicate the units' Guardian SPAFORGEN requirement compliance prior to force presentation
- Liaise with MD 9 units to ensure SPAFORGEN readiness generation events, taskings, and personnel support requirements are coordinated with CFC
- Provide end to end support for MD 9 Crew Readiness Validations, to include facilitating meetings, schedule venues and debrief events
- Integrate all MD 9 units' training and readiness generating events and exercises (ie STAR and SKIES, Live-Fly training scenarios and Inter-Delta Table Top)
- Create and maintain MD 9 Exercise Planning Guide and Annual Exercise Priority Memorandum
- Manage and close exercise-related taskers using TMT on NIPR and SIPR, coordinating MD 9 unit reponses and reviewing all inputs for accuracy, formatting and completeness
Experience and Skills
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Security security clearance
- Safeguards classified or sensitive bedget-reltaed information and/or files
- 8+ years of experience with military exercise planning, space operations, or space intelligence
- Experience working as an exercise controller or scenario manager
- Experience with space domain operations, such as OW, EW or SDA
- Experience developing planning artifacts, such as AARs
- Experience supporting a Combative Command or another joint command
- Knowledge of Space domain operations and their integration with other war fighting domains
Key Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of Joint and USSF exercise planning processes and events
- Ability to facilitate and build consensus among stakeholders with competing equities
- Skilled in written and oral communication to develop detailed plans and present complex information, analysis, and recommendations to leaders
- Ability to collect, analyze, and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to support rigorous after-action analysis and reporting
- Proven ability to use the Task Management Tool (TMT)
In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $120,000 to $135,000; however, Sigmatech considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, experience, education/training, key skills, location and often contractual requirements.
