Job summary

CeLeen, an operating firm of Command Holdings, seeks an Exercise Planner to support the National Guard Bureau (NGB) and the Army Interagency Training and Education Center (AITEC). The role reports to the Project Manager and involves coordinating diverse exercise activities and preparing after-action reports.

The ideal candidate will have a degree or relevant experience, strong English proficiency, and the ability to obtain a federal background clearance.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or 2 years relevant experience required.
• Experience in installation protection and security, command post operations, disaster response planning and operations, and CM/DSCA concepts.
• Proficiency in English; excellent presentation, communication and organization skills.
• Ability to pass a federal background investigation and possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate development, synchronization, conduct, and control of AITEC exercises.
• Manage all aspects of exercise coordination including scheduling, writing, budget, and planning conferences.
• Provide oversight to develop realistic exercise scenarios to meet training objectives.
• Deliver progress reports to the Government and participate in planning meetings as required.
• Develop after-action reports and follow-on improvement tasks.
• Act as a Technical Subject Matter Expert supporting operations at training events.
• Coordinate with external agencies for research and curriculum development.
• Attend planning conferences with Government to meet mission requirements.
