Job summary

Tender Touch Rehab Services in Absecon, NJ is seeking a full-time Exercise Physiologist to join our skilled nursing facility team. Compensation ranges from $20.00 to $24.00 per hour, with a schedule that supports work-life balance in a dynamic clinical setting.

The role requires meeting patients, developing and coordinating exercise programs, and providing clinical oversight under a therapist or physician. A Bachelor's or Master's in Exercise Physiology or Exercise Science is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Exercise Physiology or Exercise Science.

Responsibilities

• Meet with patient/clients to establish medical histories, exercise histories and exercise goals.
• Develop, implement, and coordinate exercise and wellness programs for patients/clients under supervision of a physical therapist or physician.
• Provide clinical oversight of exercise program.
• May perform diagnostic tests as indicated (stress test, EKG, body fat) to assess health and fitness.
• Ensure all patient/client documentation is completed in a timely fashion.
• Exercise Physiologist performs all other duties as assigned.
