Tenet Healthcare is seeking a Cardiac Rehabilitation Specialist to evaluate cardiac patients, plan and implement a cardiac rehabilitation program, and meet established competencies during the introductory period.
Responsibilities include EKG interpretation, monitoring vital signs, administering treatments, and coordinating with nurses and physicians while maintaining records and contributing to improvement initiatives.

This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus. Evaluates cardiac patients, plans and implements a cardiac rehabilitation program. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Physiology or related field from an accredited college or university
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 12 week internship in cardiac rehabilitation
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 1-2 years experience with exercise prescription in a clinical setting
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE:
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: American College of Sports Medicine – Clinical Exercise Physiologist
REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire. AHA ACLS must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role.
