Position Summary: The Exercise Physiologist is responsible for identifying patient needs and priorities for care through assessment, planning for and delegating care based on patient needs, executing interventions, and evaluating the patient’s response to care and progress towards outcomes. Collaborates with cardiopulmonary rehabilitation team members and medical director to evaluate plan of care.
1 year clinical experience in Exercise Physiology and Cardio-Pulmonary Rehab required.
Bachelor's degree in exercise science or physiology required. Undergraduate programs typically include courses in anatomy, physiology, physics, biology, chemistry, bio-mechanics, athlete training, therapeutic exercise, and nutrition.
ACSM Certification, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
Monday - Friday, 80 hours bi-weekly
Bachelor of Science or better in Exercise Science or related field.
