Job summary

Metropolitan Warehouse & Delivery is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor - Line Haul to lead the Penns Grove / Carney's Point DC operations. The role oversees 24/7 shifts, safety, inventory accuracy, and service levels while aligning with customer requirements and corporate standards.

Responsibilities include staffing and capacity planning, implementing improvement initiatives, and ensuring robust collaboration across transportation, final-mile, and customer teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field.
• 7 years of progressive operations experience in a high-volume warehouse.
• 5 years of leadership experience overseeing managers, supervisors, and hourly staff.
• Experience with 3PL warehousing, furniture, big-and-bulky products, or final-mile logistics preferred.
• Ability to manage customer SLAs, KPIs, budgets, and financial targets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for warehouse operations at the Penns Grove / Carney's Point DC.
• Lead a 24/7 operation with multiple shifts and seven-day operations as needed.
• Ensure safety, service quality, inventory accuracy, and productivity.
• Scale staffing, capacity, equipment, and processes with volume growth.
• Manage customer SLAs and conduct regular performance reviews with stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement and Lean initiatives across the facility.
• Oversee labor planning, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration.
