Job summary

Cecil College is seeking a Vice President of Finance and Administration to provide executive leadership for financial services, procurement, facilities, and administrative operations. This role reports to the President and leads the division to ensure fiscal sustainability and institutional effectiveness.

The position requires in-person presence with eligibility for telework and supervises multiple directors, shaping strategy, governance, and performance across the college’s operations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required; CPA preferred.
• Experience in education or higher education settings preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership in financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for all financial operations including budgeting, accounting, and reporting.
• Lead long-range financial planning and capital investments.
• Oversee procurement, contracts, facilities, and public safety functions.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and internal controls across the division.
