Job summary

PURIS Corp in The Woodlands, TX seeks a Vice President of EH&S to lead enterprise safety strategy and multi-site programs. This executive role reports to the CEO, partnering with operations and risk management to deliver top-tier safety performance across PURIS Family of Companies.

The VP will drive a proactive safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, manage budgets, develop leadership, and embed safety as a strategic priority across all business units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Industrial Hygiene, or Risk Management required.
• Master’s in Occupational Safety and Health preferred.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent credential required.
• Minimum of 15 years of progressive safety experience in construction/utilities/mining or multi‑site manufacturing.
• Experience managing workers’ compensation matters.

Responsibilities

• Set enterprise EH&S vision and multi-year roadmap across PURIS operating companies.
• Serve as senior EH&S advisor to the CEO; report performance and trends to leadership and Board.
• Develop and manage EH&S department budget and resource plan.
• Lead and oversee environmental, health and safety programs for compliance across all units.
• Drive proactive safety culture and zero-incident performance across operations.
• Coach and develop EH&S leadership teams and site safety professionals.
• Oversee incident management, audits, and regulatory reporting across business units.
• Lead EH&S due diligence for acquisitions and integrate programs.
• Partner with risk management to reduce total cost of risk.
