Job summary

Modular Building Systems International (MBSI) in Clermont, Florida, seeks a Vice President of Construction & Operations to lead the execution, financial performance, quality, and delivery of our modular construction business.

This hands-on executive will manage field operations, yard/refurbishment, and customer relationships, reporting to the CEO and building a scalable, accountable organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive commercial construction experience.
• Proven ability to lead managers, not just projects.
• Strong project financial acumen including budgets and margin management.

Responsibilities

• Own the operational outcome of construction projects from award to closeout.
• Lead Project Managers, Superintendents, and field personnel; recruit and develop leaders.
• Establish execution plans, schedules, budgets, and accountability; manage cost-to-complete and margin forecasts.
• Ensure change orders are properly documented, priced, and communicated; maintain safety and quality.
• Serve as senior operational representative with customers and partners; build strong relationships.
