Job summary

Hollywood Casino Joliet is seeking a strategic leader to assume the role of Vice President of Casino Operations, partnering with the executive team to oversee day‑to‑day casino operations and steer the property’s strategic direction.

You will direct gaming activities within regulatory guidelines, deliver exceptional guest service, and collaborate on capital planning and financial objectives. The role emphasizes staffing, policy development, and adherence to internal controls across the casino.

Qualifications

Minimum age of 21 years.
Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university and/or 7+ years of experience in Casino Operations.
Director‑level experience in Table Games and Slot Operations.
Experience with CAD for casino layouts.
Must understand and speak the English language.

Responsibilities

Exercise direct operational control over gaming activities in line with state regulations and company policies.
Provide high level guest service and promote a fun, entertaining guest experience.
Develop strategic plans with the Executive Management Team to support property objectives.
Develop and present capital requests and manage departmental budgets.
Work with IGB to maintain integrity of casino rules and regulations.
Direct selection and utilization of gaming devices to meet objectives.
Develop and implement policies and procedures consistent with regulations and internal controls.
Supervise staff to ensure optimum operating efficiency and staffing.
Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations and internal controls.
Perform other duties as necessary to support business needs.
