Qualifications
- 10+ years of work experience with 5+ years of operational leadership.
- Deep neuroscience background to complement a senior team.
- Experience with data-sharing and open science initiatives.
- Strong ability to lead multidisciplinary teams across faculties.
- Proven track record in strategic planning and portfolio oversight.
Responsibilities
- Serve as scientific lead for SFARI grants process, RFAs, and portfolio analysis.
- Manage a portfolio of funded grants and coordinate with the grants team.
- Contribute to SFARI's strategic planning and scientific priorities.
- Design strategies to increase inclusive excellence in autism research and data sharing.
- Lead workshops and coordinate with ABN and external partners.
- Collaborate with funders to ensure synergy and avoid duplication.
- Stay current with autism research and related fields through literature and seminars.
- Oversee a team of Scientific/Senior Scientific Officers; provide mentorship.
