Job summary

Asset Living seeks a Senior Vice President of Affordable Housing Operations to shape and execute operational strategies across a large multifamily portfolio. The role emphasizes resident- and client-first service, transformational initiatives, and alignment with broader business goals.

The SVP will lead with strategic vision, drive excellence, and collaborate across teams to deliver superior outcomes. Ideal candidates bring 10-15 years in operations leadership within multifamily or real estate

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
10-15 years of progressive leadership in operations.
2-5 years in a senior/executive role within multifamily or real estate services.
Minimum 10 years’ experience with affordable housing programs (LIHTC, HUD, PRAC, 811 PRA, USDA-Rural Development, HOME Funds, Bonds).
Affordable Housing Accreditation or designations preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead with transparency and credibility across diverse audiences.
Drive resident and client-centered service delivery and improvements.
Oversee strategic operations, vendor spend, and cost-reduction initiatives.
Monitor KPIs on workflow, technology adoption, client retention, and financial health.
Champion industry leadership, innovation, and thought leadership.
Foster high-performance culture, succession planning, and leadership development.
Manage cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex problems.
