Boston Medical Center, in partnership with Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine, seeks a Vice Chair of Research for Basic & Translational Science in the Department of Medicine to lead our discovery research enterprise and align bench-to-bedside initiatives with the school’s mission.

The ideal candidate is an Associate or full Professor with a proven track record of external funding, high-impact publications, and a commitment to mentoring investigators while expanding

Qualifications

• MD, PhD, or equivalent Associate of Full Professor Rank.
• Track record of external funding.
• National recognition and credible publication record.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for discovery research in the Department of Medicine.
• Develop and execute a department-wide vision for basic and translational science.
• Expand externally funded research and foster interdisciplinary collaboration.
