Position Overview: The Department of Medicine at Boston Medical Center and Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine seeks a Vice Chair to provide strategic leadership for its clinical, population health, and implementation science research portfolio. The leader will advance high‑impact, patient‑centered, and equity‑driven research that improves care delivery, health outcomes, and health system performance—particularly for underserved populations. In close partnership with the Vice Chair for Basic and Translational Science, the role will align the full research continuum, identify emerging opportunities, and guide strategic investments in faculty, infrastructure, and innovative methodologies, including the integration of data science and AI to enhance research and care transformation.

Salary range: $220,000.00 - $450,000.00 (based on qualifications, experience, and budget).
