Nextpower is seeking a US Steel Sourcing Director in Nashville, TN to lead the US steel sourcing strategy and manage the sourcing team. You will partner with executive leadership to shape multi-year plans and own total cost of ownership for steel materials used in utility-scale solar projects.

The role requires 15+ years in sourcing, strong negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Engineering, Finance, and Operations, with travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in sourcing or strategic category management.
• Advanced negotiation skills and knowledge of US contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the US steel sourcing team with managers and senior staff.
• Develop and deploy US steel sourcing strategies by product and supplier.
• Negotiate and manage Master Supply Agreements and supplier relations.
• Coordinate with Sales, Planning, and Operations to align demand.
• Track market trends and mitigate supply, price, and geopolitical risks.
