Role Description

As a Middle & Large Business Construction Underwriter, you will lead the sales and underwriting process by building strong relationships with agents and brokers, ensuring The Hartford remains the carrier of choice. Success involves strategic account management, operational excellence, and developing cross-sell and up-sell opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of construction casualty underwriting experience preferred

Location & Compensation

This role requires a hybrid work arrangement, working in the selected office three days a week (Tuesday through Thursday). The annual base pay ranges from $98,800 to $184,800, depending on experience and qualifications. Compensation includes bonuses, incentives, and recognition programs.
