HireGrowth, LLC is seeking an experienced Executive Underwriter for large account construction casualty in the Philadelphia area. You will blend technical underwriting with strategic sales to grow profitable programs and serve top retail brokers.

This role requires a track record in loss sensitive casualty, strong knowledge of GL, WC, Auto, and a network within Philadelphia brokers. You will evaluate submissions, structure tailored solutions, and lead proposals to win large construction clients.

Qualifications

• 4+ years underwriting construction industry segments.
• Strong knowledge of General Liability, W/C, and Auto coverages.
• Expertise in loss sensitive casualty business.
• Retail brokerage network base in the Philadelphia territory ideal.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate new and renewal submissions, identifying exposures and structuring tailored loss sensitive construction business.
• Underwrite W/C, General Liability and Auto coverage.
• General Contractors, Specialty Trades, Heavy Construction, etc.
• Analyze risk, pricing, and coverage terms; develop and present competitive proposals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with retail brokers in the local assigned territory.
• Drive new business through strategic positioning and pipeline development.

We are seeking an experienced Executive Underwriter or AVP Underwriter to underwrite large account construction casualty business. This role blends technical expertise, relationship management, and strategic sales execution to drive profitable growth.
