Atrial fibrillation (AFIB) is a quivering or irregular heartbeat (arrhythmia) that can lead to blood clots, stroke, heart failure and other heart-related complications. 20 million people around the world suffer from AFIB each year. Biosense Webster, Inc. is the global leader in the science of diagnosing and treating heart rhythm disorders. The company established its leadership in electrophysiology with the development of the first real-time, 3D cardiac mapping and navigation technology, as well as the first electrophysiology catheter. The introduction of the company’s CARTO 3 System in 2009 revolutionized 3D mapping technology by increasing the accuracy, speed, and efficiency of the cardiac ablation procedure.
The Ultrasound Clinical Account Specialist (ULS CAS) is accountable to provide technical and clinical product support to health care providers including Electrophysiology (EP) physicians, Interventional Cardiologists (IC) and laboratory staff for BWI diagnostic and therapeutic catheters and systems – with an emphasis on the AcuNav and SOUNDSTAR catheters - to enable practitioners to perform advanced cardiac ablation and interventional procedures respectively. The CAS is responsible to build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with physicians & EP laboratory staff in order to identify and foster interest in new products or product indications to grow and develop the company’s product and technology utilization. The ULS CAS directly partners with a Regional Business Director, Territory Managers, EP CAS, Field Service Engineers and Field Management to ensure alignment and coordination of activities to meet business objectives.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $96,000-$149,500 annually.
