Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Tax Managing Director in the United States to apply industry‑specific knowledge, advise clients on tax implications, and lead complex tax issues. You will be the primary client contact and participate in leadership, marketing, and business development.

The role requires over a decade of tax experience, CPA/EA/attorney credentials, and strong executive presence to manage engagements, supervise staff, and deliver strategic tax solutions across multiple specialties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required; accounting/finance focus preferred.
• Master's in Accountancy or Taxation is preferred.
• Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.
• Ability to delegate and manage a team of professionals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee tax compliance and client service delivery.
• Conduct research and report analyses clearly.
• Apply FAS 109, FIN 48, and ASC 740 as applicable.
• Develop methods to maximize client tax benefits.
• Advise on tax implications across specialties.
• Lead strategy development and client presentations.
• Supervise staff and provide performance feedback.
