Job summary

T-Mobile USA, Inc. is seeking a Senior Vice President, Litigation to lead the in-house team focused on Government Investigations, Business & Consumer Litigation, Antitrust, IP, and DIG.

Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, this role requires a strategic thinker and hands-on leader who can deliver results across a large organization. You will partner with senior business leaders, guide outside counsel, manage the department budget, and drive the adoption of AI to enhance quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active state bar license.
• 12+ years of extensive experience leading complex, high-stakes litigation.
• Experience managing government investigations, antitrust matters, IP, and labor & employment.
• Demonstrated experience advising C-suite executives on legal strategy and risk mitigation.
• Experience managing outside counsel relationships and budgets.
• Proven experience leading and developing legal teams, including organizational design and succession planning.
• Experience driving adoption of AI and other technologies within a legal function.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Legal Affairs Leadership Team and guide strategic initiatives.
• Build internal and external networks to amplify impact.
• Counsel GC on pressing legal, regulatory, and compliance matters.
• Drive AI adoption to improve quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Oversee department budget, resources, and workforce planning.
• Recruit and develop a high-performing legal leadership team.
• Design organizational structure to scale the function.
• Communicate strategy with executive and board audiences.
• Negotiate favorable outcomes balancing legal risk and business needs.
• Maintain deep expertise across litigation, antitrust, IP, and labor.
