Zurich Insurance Company Ltd. is seeking an Underwriting Specialist or Executive Underwriter – Contract Surety in our Atlanta office. This role combines technical underwriting with market-facing responsibilities, including developing broker relationships and cross-selling Surety products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher and relevant underwriting experience
• Experience underwriting surety lines and navigating related regulations
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with brokers and clients
• Ability to build and maintain broker relationships in GA
• Proficiency with MS Office and related underwriting tools
• Familiarity with Zurich underwriting standards and authority levels

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new and existing Surety accounts and promote cross-sell within Zurich North America
• Execute external marketing strategy and establish agency/broker relationships
• Adhere to underwriting guidelines, laws, and Zurich standards
• Manage limited authorities on complex assignments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver client-focused service
• Work within time restraints for quotes on new and renewal business
